Audio/Visual Equipment

 

The following is a list of audio/visual equipment available to faculty and teaching assistants in the Department of English. The equipment is intended primarily for use within the Buchanan Tower for graduate seminars, and department-related colloquia, conferences, and meetings. In booking audio/visual equipment, priority will be given to faculty using the equipment for teaching purposes, particularly in the Buchanan Tower and other locations where no audio visual equipment is available.

To ensure equipment is available when needed, we recommend you make a reservation at least 1 day in advance. To reserve equipment, either contact us at 822-6636, Dominique.Yupangco[at]ubc.ca, or fill out the "Reservations Calendar" in BuTo 397 (just outside Dominique's door).

The following equipment is available to faculty and students* in the Department of English to use. Contact Dominique for assistance.

Students - Graduate Computer Lab in BuTo 610 (OCR and imaging software installed on workstation)

* Refers to students who are working either as a Teaching Assistant or a Research Assistant for one of the faculty in Department of English. The equipment will be made available to students not falling under this category ONLY with the authorization of a faculty member from the Department of English.
